Authorizing the Director of Public Works to enter into an Agreement with the Tax Increment Finance Commission for construction of curbs and sidewalks along N. Holmes Road between Greenfield and 42nd Street and for intersection improvements at N.E. 48th Street and Vivion Road; estimating and appropriating revenues in the amount of $550,000.00; and recognizing an accelerated effective date.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement with the Tax Increment Finance Commission of Kansas City for the construction of curbs and sidewalks along N. Holmes Road between Greenfield and 42nd Street and for improvements at the intersection of N.E. 48th Street and Vivion Road, which improvements are identified and approved as part of the 12th Amendment of the N. Oak Tax Increment Financing Plan.
Section 2. That revenues in the following accounts of the Capital Improvement Fund are hereby estimated in the following amounts:
24-3090-890001-485380-89060545 N. Holmes - Greenfield to 42nd $200,000.00
24-3090-890001-485380-89008267 N.E. Vivion Road 350,000.00
TOTAL $550,000.00
Section 3. That the appropriation in the following accounts of the Capital Improvements Fund are hereby increased in the following amounts:
24-3090-895914-B-89060545 N Holmes - Greenfield to 42nd $200,000.00
24-3090-895914-B-89008267 N.E. Vivion Road 350,000.00
TOTAL $550,000.00
Section 3. That this ordinance, relating to the design, repair, maintenance or construction of a public improvement, is hereby recognized as an ordinance with an accelerated effective date as provided by Section 503(a)(3)(D) of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with Section 503 of the City Charter.
