Estimating revenues in the amount of $152,220.00 in the Capital Improvements Fund; appropriating that amount to the Country Club Right of Way account; designating requisitioning authority; and recognizing an accelerated effective date.

WHEREAS, on September 24, 2020, pursuant to Ordinance No. 200785, the City acquired the Country Club Right of Way; and
WHEREAS, the estimated revenue represents the acceptance of lease revenue that will be collected from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 from businesses with leases along the Right-of-Way; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 210355, passed on April 29, 2021, appropriated funds to the Country Club Right of Way account in the amount of $52,667.00 for revenue collected from January to June 2021; and
WHEREAS, the revenue collected in this account is dedicated for maintenance along the trail; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the revenue in the following account of the Capital Improvements fund is estimated in the following amounts:
22-3090-891274-468620 CCROW Parking $152,220.00
Section 2. That the sum of $152,220.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Capital Improvements Fund to the following account:
22-3090-891274-B CCROW Parking $152,220.00
Section 3. That the Director of Public Works is hereby designated requisitioning authority for Account No. 22-3090-891274.
Section 4. That this ordinance, relating to appropriating money, is recognized as having an accelerated effective date as provided in Section 503(a)(3)(C) of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with Section 503of the City Charter.
