Rezoning an area of about 23.5 acres generally located at 4710 Jefferson St from District B4-5 (Heavy Business) to District MPD (Master Planned Development) and approving a development plan to allow for maintenance and redevelopment of the Country Club Plaza; appropriating $5,000.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Development Services Fund (2210) for the purposes of public communication; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning and Development Code, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 88-20A-1523, rezoning an area of about 23.5 acres generally located at 4710 Jefferson St from District B4-5 (Heavy Business) to District MPD (Master Planned Development) and approving a development plan to allow for maintenance and redevelopment of the Country Club Plaza, said section to read as follows:
