Authorizing the acceptance of an $317,326.00 grant from the United States Department of Homeland Security Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Operations and Safety program, and including a City match of $31,732.00, or 10 percent of the Federal contribution of $317,326.00; estimating revenue in the amount of $317,326.00 in the Fire Sales Tax Fund; appropriating $349,058.00 to the USFA AFG Grant account in the Fire Sales Tax Fund; designating requisitioning authority; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.
