BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the application to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for a Brownfields Cleanup Grant (“Grant”) in the amount of up to $4,000,000.00 for the remediation of hazardous waste and petroleum brownfield sites located in the Washington Wheatley Neighborhood, a copy of which in substantial form is attached hereto, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the Director of City Planning and Development Department is authorized to submit the application.
