Appropriating $160,000.00 in the Unappropriated Fund Balance in the Capital Improvements Fund to Northwest Old Tiffany Springs Road and Northwest Skyview Avenue - Traffic Signal Improvements Project; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

WHEREAS, on September 5, 2007, the City entered into a Cooperative Agreement for Public Improvement for the signalization of North Skyview Avenue and North Tiffany Springs Road with Tiffany Square, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, under the terms of the agreement, the developer, M D Management agreed to contribute twenty-five percent (25%) of the total cost of the improvement; and
WHEREAS, the City received a $160,000.00 contribution from M D Management last fiscal year and is hereby appropriating the funds to the of N. Skyview Avenue and North Tiffany Springs Road with Tiffany Square, Inc Project; NOW, THEREFORE,
Section 1. That the sum of $160,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance in the Capital Improvements Fund to the following account:
26-3090-896801-B-89004943 Old TiffanySprings&Skyview-SglAve $160,000.00
Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby designated as requisitioning authority for Account No. 26-3090-896801.
Section 3. That this ordinance, relating to the design, repair, maintenance, or construction of a public improvement, is recognized as an ordinance with an accelerated effective date as provided by Section 503(a)(3)(D) of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with Section 503, City Charter.
