RESOLUTION - Recognizing and congratulating the Northland Christian School Men's Baseball Team for an outstanding 2025-2026 season.

WHEREAS, the Northland Christian Trailblazers have demonstrated exceptional talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout their baseball season; and

WHEREAS, under the leadership of Head Coach Aaron Holst and the dedicated coaching staff, Taylor Earle and Kevin Marasco, the team has represented Northland Christian School and their community with distinction and pride; and

WHEREAS, the team achieved a remarkable season record of 32-8, winning 80% of their games this season. In the district tournament, the Trailblazers defeated Dadeville 12-1. The team then went on to overthrow last year's reigning state champs at Ozark Mountain Sports Complex on June 2nd, shutting out St. Elizabeth to become the Class 1 State Champions and State Champions; and

WHEREAS, the Northland Christian School's starting players included Jack May (catcher), Cooper McFarland (infield/outfield), Landon Bishop (pitcher/infield), Joshua Wolf (pitcher/outfield), Kylar Langan (outfield), Mason Hall (infield), Aiden Dunagan (infield), Jones Montgomery (pitcher), John Franklin Swain (outfield), Caleb Cook (pitcher), Asher Marasco (outfield), Harrison Dieker (outfield), Jack Orton (catcher), Body Lyman (pitcher/outfield), Cole Esser ( pitcher/infield), and Chris Hotchkiss (pitcher/catcher). These student-athletes have shown dedication not only on the field but also in their academics and service to the community; and

WHEREAS, Northland Christian School is located in the City of Kansas City, Missouri. The Trailblazers have never made it this far in the post season, and secured the program's first State Championship, as well as setting the record for wins in a season.
