Authorizing the Manager of Procurement Services to execute an agreement with Ike Smart City, LLC for the installation, maintenance, and programmatic services of digital kiosks on City property for a term of up to twenty years unless there is cause for termination.

WHEREAS, the City of Kansas City, Missouri seeks to enhance public access to information, improve connectivity, and promote digital equity through the deployment of smart city infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, Ike Smart City, LLC is a provider of digital kiosks that offer interactive services including local wayfinding, public service announcements, and emergency alerts; and
WHEREAS, the installation of digital kiosks aligns with the City’s smart city and digital equity goals by providing equitable access to information and local business promotion; NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the Manager of Procurement Services is authorized to execute an agreement with Ike Smart City, LLC for the installation, maintenance, and programmatic services of digital kiosks on City property for a term of up to twenty years unless there is a cause for termination.
