Cancelling the City Council standing committee meetings and business and legislative sessions of the weeks of January 18, 2027, March 15, 2027, April 5, 2027, May 31, 2027, June 14, 2027, June 28, 2027, August 16, 2027, September 6, 2027, September 13, 2027, October 11, 2027, November 15, 2027, November 22, 2027, December 20, 2027, and December 27, 2027; acknowledging that the inaugural meeting of City Council will be held on Monday, August 2, 2027, at 10:00 a.m. as established by the City Charter and that said meeting will be the sole standing meeting of the City Council during the week of August 2, 2027; and moving the standing business and legislative sessions from Thursday, November 11, 2027, to Wednesday, November 10, 2027, in observance of Veterans Day.

WHEREAS, the Council desires to cancel the standing committee meetings and business and legislative sessions scheduled for the weeks of January 18, 2027, March 15, 2027, April 5, 2027, May 31, 2027, June 14, 2027, June 28, 2027, August 16, 2027, September 6, 2027, September 13, 2027, October 11, 2027, November 15, 2027, November 22, 2027, December 20, 2027, and December 27, 2027; to acknowledge that the inaugural meeting of the City Council will be held on August 2, 2027, and will be the sole standing meeting of City Council during the week of August 2, 2027; and to move the standing business and legislative sessions from Thursday, November 11, 2027, to Wednesday, November 10, 2027, in observance of Veterans Day; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
