BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Council of Kansas City does hereby find and declare that on the 27th day of January, 2025, a petition was filed with the City Clerk of Kansas City by Alex Reed for the vacation of all that part of the existing right of way of Mercier Street lying along the easterly line of lot 1, lot 2, and lot 5, Mercier bluff, and lot 3-a and lot 4-a, replat of lots 3 and 4, Mercier Bluff, both being subdivisions in Kansas City, Jackson county, Missouri, being described as follows; beginning at a point along the westerly right of way of Mercier Street, said point also being the northeasterly corner of said lot 1; thence S69?47'19"E, a distance of 7.00 feet; thence S20?04'19"W, parallel to said westerly right of way line, and easterly lines of said lots, a distance of 160.00 feet; thence N69?46'24"W, a distance of 7.00 feet to the southeasterly corner of said lot 5; thence N20?04'19"E, along the easterly line of said lots and said westerly right of way line, a distance of 160.00 feet to the point of beginning, giving the distinct description of the portion of the right of way to be vacated, and the names of the persons and corporations owning or claiming to own the property fronting thereon, and that the consent of the persons and corporations owning or claiming to own three-fourths of the front feet of the property immediately adjoining said portion right of way has been obtained in writing, that said consent has been acknowledged as deeds are acknowledged, and was duly filed with the petition for such vacation in the City Clerk's Office.
