Rezoning an area of approximately 3.2 acres generally located at the northeast corner of E. 100th Terrace and Scott Road from District R-7.5 to District R-1.5 and approving a development plan in lieu of a special use permit pursuant to Section 88-517-09-D to allow the operation of a 16-resident adult group home providing assisted living and memory care services. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning and Development Code, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 88-20A-1557, rezoning an area of approximately 3.2 acres generally located at the northeast corner of E. 100th Terrace and Scott Road from District R-7.5 (Residential 7.5) to District R-1.5 (Residential 1.5), said section to read as follows:
Section 88-20A-1557. That an area legally described as:
Sec-35 Twp-48 Rng-33 pt NW 1/4 daf: beg nw cor NW 1/4, th S 01 deg 31 min 00 sec E 1005.66' to tru pob, th N 89 deg 20 min 00 sec E 78.18', th N 57 deg 12 min 07 sec E 67.87', th N 89 deg 20 min 00 sec E 534.48', th N 10 deg 35 min 00 sec W 223.21', th S 89 deg 20 min 00 sec W 595.47', th S 01 deg 31 min 00 sec E 220', th S 89 deg 20 min 00 sec W 40', th S 01 deg 31 min 00 sec E 36.1' to tru pob (known as Tract 1 Cert Sur T-35 pg-95)
is hereby rezoned from District R-7.5 (Residential 7.5) to District R-1.5 (Residential 1.5), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 88-20A-1557, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and in accordance with Section 88-20 thereof.
