RESOLUTION - Celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Parrish & Sons Construction.

WHEREAS, founded in 2015, Parrish & Sons Construction has delivered consistent, high-quality performance as a Prime Contractor for the City of Kansas City, Missouri, completing more than 18 major public projects across Parks and Recreation, Public Works, KC Water, and Emergency Building Demolition; and
WHEREAS, Parrish & Sons Construction has also played a key role in several of Kansas City's most transformative developments, including the Kansas City International Airport Single Terminal Project, Kansas City Streetcar expansion work, Three Light Tower mixed-use development, Google and Meta datacenter projects, KCI Airport High-Speed Connectors Phases 1 and 2, the MCC-Penn Valley Engineering Technology Center, the Kansas City Zoo, and other significant infrastructure upgrades across the region; and
WHEREAS, through these high-impact projects, Parrish & Sons Construction has helped modernize the City's core systems, improve mobility, support technological growth, and enhance the overall landscape of a city that continues to expand and evolve; and
WHEREAS, the company's leadership, ICC General Building Contractor (A) license, union-signatory workforce, and commitment to safety have strengthened Kansas City's construction industry and set a strong example for public and private partners; and
WHEREAS, Parrish & Sons Construction has demonstrated a deep commitment to community impact through apprenticeships and workforce development, OSHA-authorized safety training, career pathways for women, minorities, and underserved populations, and youth and community outreach through the Parrish Cares initiative; and
