Approving the recommendations of Arterial Street Impact Fee District G Committee; appropriating $575,000.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Arterial Street Impact Fee Fund to Holmes Road - 137th Street to Blue Ridge Boulevard Project in the Arterial Street Impact Fee Fund; and recognizing this ordinance as having an accelerated effective date.

WHEREAS, on May 28th, 2025, the Arterial Street Impact Fee District G Committee recommended allocating $575,000.00 to fund the construction of Holmes Road - 137th Street to Blue Ridge Boulevard Project; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the recommendations of the Arterial Street Impact Fee District G Committee for project allocations in the Impact Fee District are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the sum of $575,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Arterial Street Impact Fee District G fund to the following account:
26-2437-897626-B-89008543 Holmes Rd - Blue Ridge Blvd to 137th St. $575,000.00
Section 3. That the Director of Public Works is the requisitioning authority for account 26-2437- 897626-B-89008543.
Section 4. That this ordinance, relating to the design, repair, maintenance, or construction of a public improvement, is recognized as an ordinance with an accelerated effective date as provided by Section 503(a)(3)(D) of the City Charter and shall take effect in accordance with Section 503, City Charter.
