RESOLUTION - Honoring Victoria Brady for her outstanding achievements in Girls Flag Football and National Representation in NFL FLAG Competitions.

WHEREAS, Victoria began her flag football journey just four years ago when the North Kansas City School District partnered with the Kansas City Chiefs to introduce girls flag football to Missouri high schools. She was one of only 12 athletes on Staley High School's inaugural flag football team - a program that has since grown to more than 60 players, highlighting the rapid rise of the sport; and
WHEREAS, in addition to competing for Staley High School, Victoria plays with her club team, the KC Shockers, where she and her teammates have earned national recognition. The team represented the Indianapolis Colts at the NFL FLAG Championships in 2024 and returned in 2025 representing the Kansas City Chiefs; and
WHEREAS, Victoria's individual achievements have also gained national attention. She was selected to participate in the NFL FLAG Rising Stars All-Star Game during the 2024 Armed Forces Bowl and was most recently chosen as one of just 32 athletes nationwide to represent the Kansas City Chiefs at the NFL Pro Bowl High School Showcase; and
WHEREAS, through flag football, Victoria has experienced numerous unique opportunities, including an invitation to the Drum Deck at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, being featured in a commercial highlighting flag football as an emerging sport in Kansas and Missouri, and meeting Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed and team owner Clark Hunt; and
WHEREAS, outside of football, Victoria is a dancer, a student council leader, and a four-year varsity starter on Staley High School's women's soccer team - all while maintaining an impressive 4.1 GPA; NOW, THEREFORE,
