RESOLUTION - Adopting an Addendum to the City Procurement Card Policy for City Council Offices, attached as Exhibit A, as a policy statement of the City Council and directing its inclusion in the Council Policy Manual pursuant to Section 2-73 of the Code of Ordinances.

WHEREAS, Section 2-73 of the Code of Ordinances establishes a Council Policy Manual containing City policy statements adopted by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager’s Administrative Regulation 3-19 establishes the City’s Procurement Card Policy; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish procurement card guidelines for City Council offices that maintain consistency with Administrative Regulation 3-19 and compliance with Sections 2-2060 and 2-2061 of the Code of Ordinances; and
WHEREAS, this resolution was referred to the Council’s Standing Committee on Finance and Governance for discussion, analysis, and recommendation in accordance with Section 2-73; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the Addendum to the City Procurement Card Policy for City Council Offices, attached to this resolution as Exhibit A, is adopted as a policy statement of the City Council.
Section 2. That the policy shall be included in the Council Policy Manual, and the City Clerk is directed to assign a policy number, obtain review by the Mayor Pro Tem, and distribute the policy for inclusion in the Council Policy Manual, accompanied by the resolution number and date of adoption, in accordance with Section 2-73.
