RESOLUTION - Directing the KCATA to report to the City Council on the employment status of IRIS drivers, including certain specific factors.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
That Kansas City Transportation Authority shall report to the City Council within 10 days on the employment status of IRIS drivers including:
a) Whether the drivers earn a living wage;
b) The average hours worked per week per driver;
c) Whether the drivers receive benefits such as healthcare, PTO, overtime, and unemployment;
d) Whether the drivers are placed in the appropriate employee classification; and
e) Listing an explanation of driver out of pocket expenses.
