WHEREAS, this ordinance authorizes contracts with various health centers and
hospitals to provide primary health care services to uninsured residents; and

WHEREAS, this ordinance shall have an effective date of May 1, 2021; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Health (the "Director") is authorized to enter into contracts with Kansas City CARE Clinic, Northland Health Care Access, Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, Swope Ridge Geriatric Center, Swope Parkway Health Center, Children's Mercy Hospital, and Truman Medical Center, for the provision of primary health care services to the City's uninsured residents for the period beginning May 1, 2021, through April 30, 2022, in the amounts listed below, to be paid from funds previously appropriated to the below Health Levy accounts. Copies of these contracts, in substantial form, are on file with the Director.
