Authorizing the City Manager to enter a non-disclosure agreement with Shalerock LLC.

WHEREAS, Shalerock LLC, is evaluating the potential development of an industrial facility in Kansas City; and
WHEREAS, discussion of the technical aspects of the potential development necessarily include confidential information belonging to Shalerock LLC; and
WHEREAS, such information may be protected from disclosure under federal and Missouri laws. NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to enter a non-disclosure agreement with Shalerock LLC. A copy of the contract is on file in the office of the City Manager.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect in accordance with Section 503 of the City Charter.
