BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Gunter Construction Company for construction services for Project No. 62210538 - Perimeter Fence Upgrade at the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport in the amount of $1,202,942.00. A copy of the contract is on file in the Aviation Department.
Section 2. That the Director of Aviation is authorized to expend up to $1,202,942.00 to satisfy the costs of the contract from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 23-8300-627270-B-62210538.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall have an effective date of May 1, 2022.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
