BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the Director of Water Services is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of Kansas City, the First Amendment to the Water Purchase Agreement between Kansas City, Missouri and Clay County Public Water Supply District #8 extending the Agreement for 20 years. A copy of the amendment and the Water Purchase Agreement are on file in the office of the Director of Water Services.
