Approving and authorizing settlement of a claim for a Workers' Compensation benefit filed by Terrell McClendon for injuries resulting from an accident on June 25, 2020, while employed by the City.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That settlement of the claim of Terrell McClendon for Workers’ Compensation benefits against the City of Kansas City, Missouri, for any and all injuries resulting from an accident while employed by the City, as more fully set forth and subject of a formal claim, Case No. 20-038337, presently pending before the Division of Workers’ Compensation of the State of Missouri, by payment to Terrell McClendon of the sum of $56,421.31, as recommended by the City Attorney and Risk Management Committee, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to pay the sum of $56,421.31, in settlement of said claim from funds heretofore appropriated in Account No. 23-7020-071402-610400.
