Accepting and approving a $145,000.00 contract with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to conduct child care sanitation inspections in Kansas City, Missouri; and designating requisitioning authority.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That a contract between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director of Health, and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, acting through its Director of Administration, whereby the State will provide funding for child care sanitations in Kansas City, Missouri for the period beginning October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2025, for an amount not to exceed $145,000.00, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and made a part by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Health is hereby designated as requisitioning authority and is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $23,499.00 from funds previously appropriated to:

                     I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
