BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the Director of the Water Services Department is authorized to execute Contract No. 1678 in the amount of $499,976.00 with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., for the Rocky Branch WWTP Facility Plan project, Project No. 81001000. A copy of the contract is on file in the office of Water Services.
Section 2. That the Director of the Water Services Department is authorized a maximum expenditure of $499,976.00 from Account No. 23-8110-807778-611040-81001000, Sewer Treatment Facilities, to satisfy the cost of this contract.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
