RESOLUTION - Congratulating Bryson Bruce on his starring in the First National Tour of Hamilton.

WHEREAS, Bryson Bruce is an actor, born and raised in the Kansas City area and is currently starring in the First National Tour of Hamilton, playing at the Music Hall until April 2nd; and
WHEREAS, Bryson grew up acting, singing and dancing in Kansas City, Missouri and began his training with classes at the Academy of Performing Arts in Grandview, Missouri at age 6; and
WHEREAS, Bryson signed with Exposure Talent Inc. throughout his youth and appeared in multiple ad campaigns for national clients like Hallmark and Disney and local businesses, KC Board of Trade and Missouri Tourism; and
WHEREAS, Bryson attended Lee's Summit West High School, where he participated in athletics, theater and choir and Starlight Theatre's Blue Star awards; and
WHEREAS, Bryson majored in Theatre at the University of Missouri in Columbia, and returned to Mizzou as a guest artist in the Spring of 2019, to coach current Theatre students in a master class and performance; and
WHEREAS, Bryson launched his professional career in 2014 in New York with NYC Children's Theatre. Bryson toured the US and Asia with the 20th Anniversary Company of Rent.; and
WHEREAS, Bryson joined the first national tour of Hamilton as Thomas Jefferson in the Spring of 2018. He is proud to cover the roles of Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, and King George III; and
WHEREAS, Bryson is glad to return to his home of New York City and his wife, upon the conclusion of the First National Tour of Hamilton, you can follow him @Brysonnbrucee on instagram and Bryson.Bruce on TikTok; NOW, THEREFORE,
