Authorizing the Director of Aviation to execute the First Master Amendment to the Use and Lease Agreement with Signatory Airlines at Kansas City International Airport; authorizing the execution of like agreements with additional airlines; and authorizing the execution of amendments to the agreements.

                     BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1.  That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to enter into the First Master Amendment of the Use and Lease Agreement with Signatory Airlines at Kansas City International Airport, effective on the date airlines occupy the newly constructed passenger terminal and ancillary facilities and terminating on April 30, 2028.  A copy of this agreement is on file in the office of the Director of Aviation.

 

                     Section 2.  That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to enter into the First Master Amendment of the Use and Lease Agreement during the term thereof with any additional airlines without additional City Council approval.                        

 

Section 3.  That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to further amend any Use and Lease Agreement with Signatory or Non-Signatory Airlines at the Kansas City International Airport to add, delete or change the amount of the premises leased without further City Council approval.
