Amending Chapter 2, Code of Ordinances, “Administration,” by creating a new Section 2-90 to define the duties of the internal auditor and repealing and replacing certain sections for the purpose of establishing and adopting salary schedules to provide general maintenance of the classification system and, adding one new classification and adjusting pay range of one classification.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That Chapter 2, Code of Ordinances, entitled “Administration,” relating to the Classification and Compensation Plan, is hereby amended by creating a new Section 2-90 and repealing Sections 2,1075, 2-1076, 2-1077, 2-1078, 2-1079, and 2-1080 and enacting in lieu thereof new sections of like numbers and subject matters, to read as follows:

Sec. 2-90. Internal Auditor

The internal auditor shall also be known as the chief compliance officer and will hold all the duties and responsibilities as directed by the city manager, including those outlined in the charter and this code of the internal auditor and ethics compliance officer.

Sec. 2-1075. Salary schedules; pay grades therein.

The following salary schedules are hereby adopted:
