Increasing the compensation of the City Auditor to $135,834.00

WHEREAS, on October 8, 2020, the City Council approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to reappoint Douglas Jones as City Auditor in Ordinance 200877; and
WHEREAS, the approved MOU includes provisions allowing for increases to the City Auditor’s compensation after an annual performance review; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted the 2022 annual review of the City Auditor’s performance and has determined an increase in their annual compensation is warranted; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the monthly base salary of the City Auditor, Douglas Jones, is hereby increased to $135,834.00, retroactive to June 29, 2022.
