                     BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

That a commission, members to be appointed by the Mayor, to research and recommend to the Mayor and City Council alternatives to incarceration is hereby established with the goal of informing the number of jail beds that are needed and to be built by the City in coordination with Jackson County, Missouri.
