BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the payment of the sum of $100,000.00 in settlement of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Charge No. 563-2022-02169 as recommended by the City Attorney and the Risk Management Committee, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to pay the sum of $100,000.00 in settlement of said claims in this charge of discrimination from funds previously appropriated in Account No. 23-7010-131543-B, Public Office Liability Fund.
